Discover the desert during a circuit in Fez via Merzouga and the Middle Atlas.

Day 1: Marrakech - Telouet - Rose Valley - Dades Gorges

Early morning pick up at your accommodation in Marrakech towards the Dades Gorge. Pass through the Tichka Pass (2260 m above sea level) and several Berber villages hung on the mountainside. Stop to visit the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, UNESCO World Heritage dating from the 11th century. Continue towards Ouarzazate, through the Valley of Roses and Kasbahs to the Dades Gorge (site known for the curious shape of its rocks: monkey rides). Dinner and overnight at an on-site hotel.

Day 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga

After lunch at your hotel, go down the gorge to Boumalne Dades. Continue to Tinghir and the neighboring palm grove, passing through the Todra Gorge with its ocher and red cliffs almost 300 m high. Enjoy a lunch break on the site before heading back to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) via Erfoud, and the Tafilalet valley. On your arrival, you go on a camel trek to see the sumptuous sunset on the dunes. Dinner and overnight at the bivouac.

Day 3: Merzouga - Midelt - Azrou - Ifrane - Fez

Before breakfast, watch the sunrise over the dunes of Er Chebbi very early on a camel ride. Departure to Fez crossing the palm of Tafialet and the city of Rissani. Then continue to Midelt by entering the Ziz Gorge and a series of villages with different architectures. Stop at Midelt for a lunch break before continuing to the city of Azrou. En route, you will cross the cedar forest (1600m) which has a large number of Monkeys Magots.
